I’ve been with LegalShield since 1999, and prior to joining PPLSI I was on disability from the Airlines. Before joining America West Airlines (1987) I was in International Banking (1979). I never imagined myself in sales let alone joining a Network Marketing company. That was my husband Randy’s passion. I actually hated MLM and wanted him to quit and get a real job! We were broke, lost our home and cars while trying to keep food on the table for our barely 2 and 3 year old boys.

One day a friend who my husband met through another business came to our home and introduced me to PPLSI. I told her I am not the salesperson and that it was Randy that did the sales and I was going to our company convention in his place to find out what would be our next step. I told her if I didn’t like what I heard she could have our entire organization. Much to my surprise the announcement to the top 50 sales reps with TPN were told that PPLSI purchased us. While others were shocked and mad I was excited because I had been shown the services two weeks prior to this private meeting the day before our TPN convention. Who would have thought that me, a person who hates sales would end up joining. We didn’t have $249 to put food on our table for our kids but we went out on a limb and trusted God and decided to take a run with PPLSI. After all, I saw the value in the service and one thing about me is if I believe in something I will share it with everyone just like my faith in Christ.

I went through a two day training, I was scared to death! Yet, I came home, put a headset on and dialed and smiled, smiled and dialed every day, all day while caring for my two baby boys. I did what I was told to do. I held meetings in my home until we outgrew it and I began to focus on the Business Solutions Division of our company. I couldn’t believe the income I made in my first and second year. Then my world changed. CANCER came knocking on my door. I decided to put my PPLSI business on the back burner and get my priorities right.

GOD, me, my family and everything else. I stopped working for 7 years with PPLSI and went back into health, fitness and nutrition. I was training a CEO of a small business in 2007, on a Friday afternoon she told me how her identity was stolen. While I was beating her up (training her) I told her about IDShield and LegalShield. She said, I need it, my mom needs it and so does my sister. Like I never got off the horse. I said.” How many employees do you have? You can offer these services to them as a voluntary benefit and you can all get a discount” She replied, "I am having a staff meeting with my W2 employees on Monday, come in and share the information with them at 1:00 PM.” REALLY! I was so nervous, I hadn’t given a presentation in 7 years! And never gave an IDShield presentation. I went in on Monday and presented to 14 clinical psychologists and 12 purchased both plans on the spot. I sat in my car and asked The Lord if I was supposed to be working this business again. I did return very part-time as I like to say keeping my head in the sand and focused on B2B.

Since then I have battled cancer two more times (2015, 2022) and experienced a horrible car accident.

I thank God for all His favor He has blessed me with. He has healed me three times from cancer and saved me from a car accident the paramedics said I shouldn’t have survived.

This Business has blessed me in so many ways. The friendships I have developed. The associates that supported me financially before I could on my own. Most importantly the associates and Corporate staff that prayed for me and over me means more than words can express.

LegalShield has provided a service that I can get behind and feel good about sharing with others, which has not only blessed us financially but has blessed me with more free time. I have been able to pay for my Natural Treatments to beat the cancer without financial stresses that I had prior to PPLSI. I had the ability to set my own schedule so I could travel and watch my sons play college ball without worrying about having to ask for time off from a boss. My husband and I have been able to take earned yearly trips with other associates as well as take our entire family on trips outside of the ones earned through PPLSI. My dad passed away in 2020 and because of PPLSI I am able to fly back and forth to Chicago to spend time with my 91 year old mother as often as I like without worrying about the cost or time away from work because I can work from anywhere.

I am thankful to Mr. and Mrs. Stonecipher for their vision and mission that they allowed me to be part of. I thank Mike, Kim, Steve Melia and John and Darcy Hoffman for all their support over the years. Big thanks and love to my husband Randy for being my biggest cheerleader and supporter.

But mostly, I give all the thanks and glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I couldn’t have been successful not only in this business but in my life overall.

For I know the plans I have for you “declares the Lord”, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

To my fellow Associates, I wish you well and much success. Sometimes life gets in our way, that doesn’t mean we quit, that means we fight even harder and trust God through it all.

I couldn’t have survived through financial heartache and cancer without my faith in Christ. Always, keep the faith.
