PPLSI allows us to set our own schedule and enjoy life, while making a difference in others’ lives. I was an 82nd Airborne Paratrooper jumping out of airplanes when I didn’t always want to jump. I decided to become an entrepreneur, so I wouldn’t have to jump for someone else the rest of my life. I built several multi-million-dollar companies, was chairman and co-founder of one of the fastest growing companies in America, was featured in INC magazine and became a best-selling author. I had great financial success, but with 200 employees, all the overhead and liability, I was still jumping for others all the time.

After joining PPLSI in 1998, I became a $100,000 Ring Earner my first year, a Platinum Jacket Earner in 2001, and a Millionaire Club Member in 2005. My key to success is applying Henry Ford’s philosophy of finding people better than yourself. I’m not the best at selling the membership or recruiting, but I knew I could find people who had great potential and plug them into our amazing system. I believe everyone has greatness within them, and if you have a major reason “why,” you can achieve success.

When I first joined this industry, my son had a major health challenge, so I needed more time and that’s exactly what this business allows you to achieve. Over the years while being involved with PPLSI, other challenges have come up in life, but because I built a strong organization and a large membership base, we continued to earn residual income even when I wasn’t able to work the business. Life happens, and when you need to take time to help a family member or friend with a health challenge or other emergency, it’s true peace of mind knowing you can. I always share in our business presentation this great quote by J. Paul Getty, the first recorded billionaire, “I would rather earn 1% of 100 people’s efforts than 100% of my own efforts.”

You can achieve success with PPLSI, which is well documented here by so many other great leaders featured in this Profiles of Success that achieved it; YOU can too. Just read at least one associate’s success story per day in this book and build your belief. Share their stories, until you’ve created your own success story. If you believe it, you can achieve it. You don’t need any prior sales experience and you don’t have to deal with massive overhead. With PPLSI, you’re in business for yourself but not by yourself. Make a commitment to be here a year from now and learn while you earn. You’ll grow through personal development, create lifetime friendships and have the opportunity to travel with friends and family. It’s the best business model I’ve ever seen. But you have to take daily action. Best tip: Get to the big events and aspire to inspire others; you’ll change lives. The best is yet to come!
