Prior to PPLSI, I had a management position with an international chemical sales company, with thousands of employees. I didn’t like my schedule but was paid well. As regional vice president, I had many responsibilities, including overseeing a sales staff, hiring and developing a large account sales force, opening new accounts and managing inventory.

Being born and raised in a farming community in the Arkansas delta, I embraced hard work. However, after working 30 years and surviving four mergers, the company closed our division. Upon signing a non-compete contract, I was restricted in finding another job in the same field. I was introduced to PPLSI in 2006, as I was searching for an opportunity where I could build my own business, be in control of my own destiny, manage my own schedule and have more time with my family while earning a good income. PPLSI was a perfect fit for me, so I became an associate.

Once I found my niche in serving the transportation industry with the LegalShield Commercial Drivers Legal Plan, I began providing commercial drivers with the means to protect their CDL and their careers. This program really makes a difference in the livelihoods of the trucking industry. Our CDL program is the single biggest factor in my growth at PPLSI. Over the past 12 years, I have been able to open over 100 transportation group accounts. I am committed as a CDLP trainer for the past 10 years to grow this specialty product for our company.

Being a trainer for CDLP certification classes, I enjoy sharing my experiences with other PPLSI Associates to help them become certified to sell the CDLP. It was an honor and a privilege to be invited to do the CDLP training at the 2015 and 2019 national conventions.

I have achieved the Executive Director level and have advanced up to Platinum Executive Director level. I’ve been fortunate enough to qualify for Special Forces for high achievement in over 500 personal group sales in 2018 and 2019. Having worked in the corporate world for all those years, I am gratified in the opportunity that PPLSI has afforded me to be surrounded by professionals and high achievers who share a great work ethic, faith in God and faith in themselves to reach their potential and surpass their own dreams as they help others to reach for the stars.
