About

When we started our journey in PPLSI, I was an administrator in a school for problem teenagers and Stan was in the insurance industry. He was very successful because he never met a stranger, plus he had a talent for making people feel important. PPLSI has been a godsend to us. It gave us the opportunity to work together. I thank God every day for leading us to this awesome business and giving us enough sense to do something with it. It has been a wonderful journey. We reached the Executive Director level in September 1998, and we have been Executive Directors or above every month since. We are proud to have earned our PPLSI Ring and been induced into the Millionaire Club. In 2019, I received the Ladies of Justice award.

Stan passed away in 2017, so for several years prior to his death, we did not work much. Thank God we built a wonderful team. Because of the team and renewal income, our income grew. I was able to stay home and take care of Stan. We have always been 100% PPLSI. Stan loved this company. One night, Stan was in the hospital, and he was on a lot of painkillers. There were many people in the room with us. Stan said, “This is a great meeting tonight. How many are guests?”

I said, “For right now, all of them.”

He smiled and said, “Wow, that’s great.”

Meetings were always on his mind. To build a successful business, it’s important to have a big “why.” Sometimes it’s hard to find a “why” that makes you cry. If you are having trouble finding a “why,” then I will give you one. Since we don’t know what tomorrow will bring, be prepared. Build a team, build your Executive Directors. And build renewal income, just in case you get in my situation and need to stay home to care for a loved one. Do it now, while you still can. You don’t want to look back and say, “I wish I had built my business when I had the chance.”

Peace of mind is something you can’t put a price on. My membership and my business is my peace of mind. I have had challenges in my life; I lost my son in 2007, and Stan in 2017. Something I learned that has really helped me is this: You can only concentrate on one thought at a time and God gave you the power to choose that thought. So choose wisely. Think on what you want in life. Think only positive thoughts and keep moving forward.
